While exterior stucco offers a beautiful, durable, and iconic look, it does require occasional maintenance to make sure it stays as attractive and strong as it can be. This kind of maintenance often shows up in the form of cracks that need patching, and buckling that needs repairing.
We recently had the opportunity to not only paint a home in San Luis Obispo, but also take on a variety of other needs that the slightly tired exterior had. We painted the following:
- Stucco
- Fascia
- Eaves
- Trim
- Doors and door jams
The additional repairs we mentioned included:
- Stucco patching and repair
- A thorough caulking of all cracks
With the help of Gredsa, a colorist from Chic Interiors in Arroyo Grande, we developed the color scheme. As for the paint itself, we used products from the Sherwin Williams Duration line, and for the door we used Sherwin Williams Solo.
A Fresh, Bright Exterior
As satisfying as it is to transform a home through exterior paint and repair, the best part of a project like this is having a happy client at the end of it all. This particular homeowner was thrilled with the transformation, and amazed at how many tubes of caulk we went through to make sure the cracks were all filled thoroughly!
